This Privacy Policy explains how Fine Folk LLC (“Fine Folk,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Subkeeper, our subscription- and spend-tracking service available at subkeeper.io and app.subkeeper.io. By using Subkeeper, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information.When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a password, which we store only in hashed form—never in plain text.
• Information you provide. The content you enter into Subkeeper, including the subscriptions, vendors, providers, and services you track; their costs, billing cycles, and renewal dates; notes and price history; and any documents you upload, such as contracts or invoices.
• Technical information. When you use the Service, we automatically collect basic technical and log data such as your IP address, browser type, and timestamps. We also use a single strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party analytics tracking cookies.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• provide, operate, and maintain Subkeeper;
• authenticate you and keep your account secure;
• send service-related and transactional emails, including renewal reminders;
• respond to your requests; and
• comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Renewal and Service Emails

We send renewal reminders and account-related messages tied to your use of the Service. You can turn renewal reminders on or off for your organization at any time in Settings.

4. Cookies

Subkeeper uses only a strictly necessary cookie to maintain your signed-in session. Because we do not use non-essential or tracking cookies, no cookie consent banner is required.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers (“subprocessors”) that help us run Subkeeper, and only as needed to provide the Service:

• Railway— application hosting and PostgreSQL database hosting.
• SMTP2GO— delivery of transactional and reminder emails.
• Cloudflare— DNS, content delivery, and security.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Policy).

6. Data Security

We protect your information using industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), hashed storage of passwords, access controls, and per-organization data isolation. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can edit or delete your content, including uploaded documents, at any time. When you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You can access, correct, export, or delete your account information and content through the Service or by contacting us. To request deletion of your account, or to exercise any other rights you may have under applicable law, email us at [email protected].

9. Data Location

Subkeeper is operated in the United States, and your information is processed and stored there. Subkeeper is intended for business users in the United States.

10. Children’s Privacy

Subkeeper is a business tool intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date, and if changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
